The Escuela Normal Superior Leonor Alvarez Pinzon is one of thirteen school of Tunja that received 300 tablets for your clas last week. “Tablets are stored in warehouse, the tablets can not be delivered because the girls to pick things that are not, like taking photos”, said Luis Eduardo Moreno director this school female.

But taking photos is an objective into the mayor´s plan to promote the technology.  As told Ivan Alba, engineer of Education Secretary. “Genesis digital” or a Mayor`s plan intends that sixth grade students use tablets in all classes. The plan has a big challenge. It is a change education and idea of technology as entertainment.

Applications use, supporting teachers and connectivity are the main features that will have the tablets. However, the fear is that tablets, remain in schools warehouses . According to Ivan Alba the tablets are in constant monitoring but when checking this its not true.

“Tablets that could be a tool for students to find jobs more easily, without assistance would become a failed plan. They are students who need to understand that these instruments are for them and not destroy them.” explain Sandra Cipagauta, coordinator of Antonio Jose Sandoval Gomez other school that get tablets.

The Tablets without any explanation wouldn't achieve their objective porpose  . The education is about change in rural life, the technology applied to their particular lifestyles and monitoring by the government of these processes are necessary for these plans to succeed.
